Complaints Policy
Caroline Gregory Counselling Services
I aim to provide a safe, respectful and professional counselling service. I welcome the opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have about your counselling experience.
Raising a concern
If you have a concern about any aspect of the counselling service, I would encourage you to raise it with me as soon as possible.
You can do this verbally, by email or in writing. I will listen to your concerns and, where possible, work with you to understand and resolve them.
I will treat any complaint seriously, respectfully and confidentially.
Formal complaints
If your concern cannot be resolved informally, you can make a formal complaint in writing. I will acknowledge your complaint and provide information about the next steps.
I will consider the complaint fairly and objectively and keep appropriate records of the process.
BACP
As a BACP member, clients may also have access to BACP's complaints and professional conduct procedures where applicable.
Information about BACP's procedures can be found on the BACP website.
My aim is always to deal with concerns openly and constructively and to learn from any issues raised.
